Synthesites is at JEC World 2022, the global trade show for composite materials and their applications

JEC World is, as they define themselves, a “networking hub of creativity, vision and action” focused on composite materials, and how they push the limits of your projects. Held in Paris between 3 and 5 May, JEC World is the industry’s leading event, hosting all the major players in a spirit of innovation, business and networking. Hundreds of product launches, awards ceremonies, startup competition, conferences, live demonstrations, innovation planets and networking opportunities are some of the sections you could find at the fair. All markets will be represented in this meeting of composites solutions and innovations, from aerospace to renewable energy.

Our partner Synthesites, the world leader in intelligent process monitoring and control systems for advanced composites manufacturing, will take part in this trade show. Nikos Pantelelis, Director of Synthesites, will be one of the speakers in May 05 from 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM. Under the heading of “Using sensors to improve sustainability in composites manufacturing, design and life cycle”, Nikos will share talk with Eli Voet, from Com&Sens, Thomas Schlech, from the University of Augsburg, Tuuli Potila, from ColloidTek Oy, and Rastislav Varga, from RVmagnetics, all moderated by Ginger Gardiner, senior editor of CompositesWorld.

This roundtable will cover the sustainability of the composites industry, which demands not only reduction of waste but also reduced consumption of energy, water and raw materials. The speaking brings together companies leading the way in developing sensors for more sustainable composites manufacturing and design, as well as possibilities for self-sensing and monitoring structures, the MORPHO research field.

More than 43,500 professional visits from 112 countries.

Synthesites will bring with them brochures and information of MORPHO to the JEC World 2022, which is a step forward for the dissemination and communication of MORPHO and its progress. The fair is an international showcase which, in the edition of 2019, reached more than 43,500 professional visits, from 112 countries, 1,300 exhibitors at least and 120 journalists in 28 regional and international pavilions.

JEC World 2022 will also be available online, via the JEC World Connect platform, offering participants, the opportunity to visit exhibitors’ digital booths, chat with each other and attend all the program of the event in livestreaming and in replay.
